Christmas Décor by Valley Green named 2010 Great Lakes Regional Franchise of the Year

November 1, 2011, Sartell, Minnesota -- Christmas Décor By Valley Green, Sartell was recently awarded the 2010 Great Lakes Regional Franchise of the Year Award at the Christmas Décor Annual Franchisee Convention held at the InterContinental Hotel in Chicago.

Christmas Décor’s Great Lakes Region includes Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin, South Dakota, North Dakota, Iowa and Illinois. The award was given based on a 96% customer retention and renewal, and growth over the previous year.

“To be recognized by 260 of your peers is truly an honor,” said Michael Hornung, Christmas Décor by Valley Green president. “This recognition and achievement was made possible by all the team members at Valley Green. I truly am as proud of them as I am of this award. It is their efforts and commitment that has made it possible.”

Valley Green President recognized at annual Rain Bird Corporate Conference in Kona, Hawaii

Michael L. Hornung, President, Valley Green Companies, Sartell was recently recognized at the annual Select Contractor Conference conducted by the Rain Bird Corporation in Kona, Hawaii.
Hornung was recognized for passing the Certified Irrigation Contractor (CIC) certification. Only 1% of irrigation contractors pass the exam. Hornung is the only CIC contractor in the St. Cloud area and one of 17 individuals in Minnesota with the CIC certification.
